Alphabet T = TASK in hand
Today's post should have been in sync with the letter of the day - T
20th day of writing : 20th letter of the alphabet of the a-to-z blogging challenge
Well, have gotten myself to write only today. Let's see how does it go from here.
Alphabet T
TASK in hand
My issue is Action. I am slow in action. Yes, coming out straight and clear to the point. I enrolled for this writers' program/challenge on 4th April and planned to cover up the gap. 2 letters twice a day would have brought me up to speed. But here I am on Day 20 and haven't even begun or tried to begin.
Alignment is something I have loved doing. So, an alphabet to a day each in April sounded like a plan.
Putting things in place, figuring out places for stuff, connecting with people and places, coordinating stuff. I am gung ho with all of this. Was born ready! My parents tell me how I was prim and proper on the day I wore a dress, I just knew how to conduct myself in various different places, pull the dress down after a slide, hold it between the thighs when on a swing, such things were natural not taught or instilled into me by my parents.
I guess, I just knew how to fit in like a missing puzzle piece in any kind of setup.
This, to some extent, explains the various groups of friends I have grown up to have. All different from each other yet same in some way or the other. The society groups, the school group, the college group, the graduation group, the NCC groups, the interim management classes group, the management school group, the theatre production group, the improvs performance group, the dance group, the writer's group, the readers group, the philosophers' group, the citizen network group, the cousins' groups, the inner circle groups, the women's groups, the living district groups, the educators' groups. It just seems never ending with most of the said groups also branching into smaller more cohesive groups.
Having said that I am not sure if I am meant to fit into the world of writing.
I have no clue why did I not make my self write all these days of April. Have I keep pushing it as much as I feel I could, who is reading anyway?! or; did I conveniently forget about my participation here. I do not know. However, when I eventually do write there is an unprecedented happiness which runs through me.
Hope to take it forward from here until Z. Fingers crossed.

ReplyDeleteThank you! :-)
DeleteEvery one brings their own particular flavour to the groups they are a part of and that is what makes things interesting. Kudos on beginning to write. Looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sonia! Not only for this comment but always being around too 🤗
DeleteGreat start...best wishes!
ReplyDeleteVell begun is half-done. Ok, so I flipped the alphabet, but it's the thought that counts, right? I see there's no 'like' button on this blog. Do something about it.
ReplyDeleteYou've started so you will complete it. I'm sure of it. Good luck. :)
